  • Buongiorno e grazie per le sempre interessanti analisi che fate, prima di tutto.
    La mia domanda si riferisce alla procedura ILS-Y RWY 12, in quanto non riesco a capire per quale motivo la virata debba essere fatta dopo un determinato tempo (3.5 min) quando vi è disponibilità di DME, sarò più preciso: prendiamo il caso di un aeromobile lento, per esempio un elicottero, con una TAS di 90 kts dopo i 3.5 min avrà percorso 5.25 Nm, quindi virando si ritroverà sopra il glide in quanto lo stesso viene intercettato a 8 da BOA o a 7.5 da IBLN.
    E’ una mia curiosità alla quale nessuno, per il momento, è riuscito a dare una risposta.

      grazie per l’attenzione con cui segue il mio lavoro.
      Io non sono un procedurista, ma proverò ugualmente a rispondere al suo quesito.
      La procedura a cui si riferisce, la ILS-Y RWY 12, è stata ideata proprio per dare la possibilità di usufruire di un avvicinamento ILS anche in caso di indisponibilità del DME.
      Ecco spiegata quindi l’esigenza di esprimere un timing per il tratto outbound.
      Per quanto riguarda il suo esempio, devo dire che generalmente per gli elicotteri vengono progettate procedure strumentali specifiche, che attualmente può trovare in AIP AD 3, ad uso di elisuperfici autorizzate a questo utilizzo. (può anche trovare notizie al riguardo nel mio post RMZ – Radio Mandatory Zone)
