A seguito di una profonda revisione operata dalla variante AIRAC A4\/26, in vigore dal 16 Aprile 2026, l<\/span>o spazio aereo della Control Zone di Genova \u00e8 <\/span>stato sostanzialmente ridimensionato.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Come \u00e8 successo in passato per altre zone di controllo, la ragione principale risiede nella cessione delle competenze ATS per gran parte dello spazio aereo che formava la precedente versione della CTR alla Control Area di Milano. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A partire dal 16 Aprile 2026, Genova CTR sar\u00e0 rappresentata da un unico settore, classificato \u201cD\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Following a major revision introduced by AIRAC A4\/26 amendment, which will become effective on 16 April 2026, the airspace of the Genova Control Zone has been substantially reduced.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As has been the case in the past for other control zones, the main reason lies in the transfer of ATS responsibilities for most of the airspace that formed the previous version of the CTR to Milano Control Area. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From 16 April 2026, Genoa CTR will consist of a single sector, classified as \u2018D\u2019<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

La CTR contiene l\u2019ATZ dell\u2019aeroporto di Genova Sestri e ha limiti verticali che vanno dalla superficie a 2000ft AMSL <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In caso di avaria radio, i piloti dovranno:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

a) se in attraversamento, evitare il CTR di Genova<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

b) se diretti all\u2019aeroporto di Genova\/Sestri, procedere fino a NORTH PEGLI (MJN1) a NW dell\u2019aeroporto, osservare i movimenti aerei ed attendere i segnali ottici della TWR per\u00a0entrare in circuito di traffico,\u00a0che si svolge a Sud della pista.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the event of radio failure pilots shall:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

a) if crossing, avoid Genova CTR<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

b) if proceeding inbound to Genova\/Sestri aerodrome, proceed inbound to NORTH PEGLI (MJN1) NW of the aerodrome, observe the traffic in progress and wait for visual signals given by TWR to enter the traffic pattern, that is south of the runway, whichever the landing direction is.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Arrivi:<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n

I voli VFR, prima di interessare il CTR, dovranno richiedere l\u2019autorizzazione all\u2019 APP\/TWR, indicando il punto di ingresso e la quota richiesta.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019Ente ATC potr\u00e0 approvare la richiesta o modificare l\u2019autorizzazione (ritardando l\u2019ingresso al CTR o facendo attendere l\u2019aeromobile su punti di riporto VFR convenienti) o instradare il volo su rotte ed a quote appropriate.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ai piloti in arrivo sull\u2019aeroporto di Genova\/Sestri potrebbe essere richiesto di attendere su NORTH PEGLI (MJN1) perch\u00e9 la TWR di Genova emetta l\u2019autorizzazione ad entrare nel\u00a0circuito aeroportuale.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tale autorizzazione viene emessa, normalmente, sui punti COGOLETO (MJW1), NERVI (MJE1), NORTH PEGLI (MJN1).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Arrivals:<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n

Before entering the CTR, VFR flights shall request clearance to APP\/TWR, specifying entry point and level\/altitude requested. ATC Unit may approve the request or modify the clearance (holding outside CTR or over convenient visual reporting points) or assign routing\/level as appropriate.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Pilots of aircraft inbound to Genova\/Sestri aerodrome might be required to hold on NORTH PEGLI (MJN1) waiting for the clearance to join the aerodrome traffic pattern. This clearance issued by Genova TWR is given, normally, when overhead the points: COGOLETO (MJW1), NERVI (MJE1), NORTH PEGLI (MJN1).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

VFR notturno<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

Divieto di operazioni di volo in VFR\/N a tutti gli aeromobili civili, esclusi elicotteri – Regolamento ENAC, edizione n. 2, del 28\/01\/2002. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Aeroporto situato in area montuosa: eccetto quando autorizzato al volo VFR speciale da parte dell\u2019Unit\u00e0 ATS competente, la visibilit\u00e0 al suolo non deve essere inferiore a 8km e la quota della base delle nubi non deve essere inferiore a 1500ft per le operazioni di decollo, atterraggio e circuito di traffico.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

VFR\/<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/strong>N<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n

Night VFR operations forbidden to all civil aircraft except helicopters – ENAC regulation, n. 2, dated 28\/01\/2002. Aerodrome located in mountainous area: except when authorized to special VFR flight by the competent ATC Unit, ground visibility shall not be less than 8km and ceiling shall not be less than 1500ft for take-off, landing and traffic circuit operations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sono esonerati dal divieto i seguenti voli: di soccorso, di emergenza, di sorveglianza per la prevenzione degli incendi boschivi ed i voli notificati\/autorizzati dalle Autorit\u00e0 di zona (vedere i numeri telefonici di Genova ATS\/DA)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Within the zone, restrictions to flight activity as landing, taking off or overflying are applied. Traffic not affected: rescue, emergency and surveillance flights for forestal fire fighting and flights notified authorized by local Authorities (see phone numbers of Genova ATS\/DA).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Divieto di sorvolo, atterraggio e decollo agli aeromobili e altri dispositivi come alianti, deltaplani, parapendii, paracadute e altri mezzi similari. Sono derogati gli aeromobili di Stato, del soccorso, di emergenza, di ordine pubblico, antincendio, della Protezione Civile, di vigilanza e salvaguardia della pubblica incolumit\u00e0 nonch\u00e9 attivit\u00e0 di controllo e monitoraggio del Parco da parte di personale autorizzato dallo stesso Ente Parco.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Restrictions to flight activity as overflying, landing or taking off with aircraft and other devices such as gliders, hang gliders, paragliders, parachutes and other similar means. State, rescue, emergency, public order, fire fighting, Civil Defense, surveillance and safeguarding of public safety aircraft, control and monitoring activities performed by people authorized by the Park are waived.
